The Casket Lottery Biography
The Casket Lottery formed in 1997. Comprised of Nathan Ellis (guitar and vocals), Stacy Hilt (bass, vocals), Nathan "Junior" Richardson (drums), their sound is indie and hardcore. Stacy Hilt left the hardcore band, Coalesce, to form the Casket Lottery with Nathan Ellis and Nathan Richardson.
The toured extensively for five years, releasing three studio LPs, a rare/b-sides collection, and various EPs and 7-inches.
Although they broke up in 2004 after their tour promoting Smoke and Mirrors EP, they had three shows scheduled for February 2006 and a show in Lawrence late 2006.
Nathan is now singing in Jackie Carol.
