Her most recent release ‘Rocky’s Diner’ was written in New York and shows a distinctive 50’s soul influence that highlights her extraordinary vocals.McLeod’s eclectic solo performances have consistently been met with rave reviews . “ I find that when I’m playing in The Superjesus , for me it’s more about playing the guitar . My solo shows are a different though. The guitar work is really simple and its all about the singing . I really love the peace in playing solo, to just enjoy the quiet and control the dynamics as I feel them flowing through me. Its always very impromptu, I just move with the vibe of the room .”Armed with the work ethic of a runaway train, McLeod also has a passion for acting and starred in Green Day’s American Idiot in 2018 playing the role of St Jimmy along side Grinspoon’s Phil Jameison and Magic Dirt’s Adalita to rave reviews. The Superjesus have recently completed a national tour celebrating the 20 year anniversary of Sumo and were inducted into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame in 2018.

This was one of the most amazing gigs I’ve ever been to. It was so intimate and Sarah was so lovely and generous with her time. Nearly cried during Second Sun. I will never forget this <3

The Superjesus achieved Platinum album sales and multiple Top 40 singles including “Gravity”, “Down Again” and “Secret Agent Man” which are still rock radio staples nationally.

When The Superjesus hiatus began in the early 2000s, Sarah’s solo career soared. Sarah’s collaborations with DJ’s from all over the globe resulted in her single “He Doesn’t Love You” topping the dance charts at #1 in Eastern Europe for 16 weeks.

Living in London and New York before returning to Australia to reform The Superjesus to an overwhelming response, Sarah continues to uphold her reputation as a musical force, nominated for “Frontman/woman Of The Year” in Triple M’s 2015 Rockies Awards amidst heavyweights Dave Grohl and Jimmy Barnes.
