Tobin Ellsworth Biography
From the mountains of Vermont, to the city of Chicago, to the coast of San Francisco, Tobin Ellsworth’s influences reflect his background & his talents stretch as far as his travels.
Growing up with a family of eclectic musical interests and pure devout love of musical structure, led Tobin on the pathway to exploring just how far and wide those sounds could lead, taking him to a place in his career now that knows no direction but up.
As one half of DJ dup Silky Thunder, resident DJ in San Francisco’s legendary Pink Mammoth camp, , San Francisco has proven to love him, just as much as he loves them.
Expect a jackin, deep, driving, rollercoaster of tech house, acid house, disco, and everything in between when Ellsworth is behind the decks. It’s because of his upbringing; Depeche Mode, NIN, Fatboy Slim, Primus and more, that he has the roster of music knowledge and a metaphorical six shooter of sounds to lay destruction to every dance floor that's worthy.
