The music is a 50:50 mix of compositions by pianist McCoy Tyner and multi-instrumentalist Bheki Mseleku (pictured), sharing a certain subtle 'African' feel, with rich melodies, vibrant harmonies and infectious grooves. The band is impressively hip, with the collective chops to glide through complex rhythms and gentle latin grooves with equal finesse. A beautiful, finely-crafted album."
