Downs

My name is Jason Downs. Music has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. However, it wasn't until my mother passed away in 1999 that I really broke out of my shell. She is my ultimate inspiration, my fire, and my drive with music. I have written and recorded with several bands that I am proud of. I have played with National acts and done great things with these bands. I am just ready to spread my wings and fly on my own. I have never done music for myself, I have always done it for others. Somehow, I had lost my inspiration for music in recent years however, with the passing of my best friend Wayne Brummett in December 2015. A new flame has been lit within me. Wayne always was my biggest fan and pushed me with my music. He made me promise I would never give up. And I fully intend to honor that promise. In the words of Wayne, "Imma go get me sum." I just a want an easy way for my friends, family, and fans to stay involved in my music.
