Old Country Rose set roots in Seattle in 2018. Since then, Jess and Country Dave have been swooning audiences with country duets and originals about living, loving and losing. Sometimes performing as a duo and other times with a full band, you can count on these two blending old favorites with just enough of new to capture a sound that feels timeless. Country Dave Harmonson, Born in Texas and transplanted to the Northwest at an early age began his music career just after high school in Tacoma WA playing acoustic music in coffee houses and night clubs. Soon with influences ranging from Doc Watson, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, The Byrds he became proficient as a lead guitar and steel guitar player. He has been a highly sought after studio musician and has performed around the world. Currently plays in his own band Country Dave and the Pickin Crew and as a side man for many Seattle bands as well as a solo entertainer on acoustic guitar. You can also catch Country Dave at any given time performing solo at SeaTac airport as part of the Port of Seattles Music Initiative Program. Whether as a front man for a country dance, a side man for country and blues bands or as a solo entertainer he always puts on a first class show. Jess Jarris is a singer, songwriter and guitar player based in Seattle. She has been playing music around the Pacific Northwest for nearly a decade, primarily touring and recording with the bluegrass band, Renegade Stringband. She has since gained recognition for her powerful voice, one that the Seattle Observer has called bold and rootsy. She can currently be heard playing with the stringband, Honey Be Kind, and partnering up with Country Dave Harmonson and other northwest musicians.
