The Lysergics are a London based acid/ psychedelic rock band and the members are: Fabio Mongelli on guitar and vocals, Sarah Gonputh on organ and vocals, Danilo Villafranca on bass and Javier Junior on drums. Taking their sound from the psychedelic rock movement of the 1960s, The Lysergics’ influences include: early Pink Floyd, Cream, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Who, Small Faces and all the not as well known psychedelic bands of the1960’s. The band was put together by Fabio Mongelli in August 2007. The Lysergics' debut album was produced by Sebastian Kellig at Sausage Studio, Hackney, London and is available through Clostridium/ Moonjelly records, along with 7 inch single release, 'Head In My Hands'. The Lysergics have shared the stage with legendary and current acts on the alternative/ psychedelic rock scene such as: The Fuzztones, The Deviants, Vibravoid (Germany), Giobia (Italy), The Hangee V (Italy) and johnTWINKalder. With the Lysergics as his backing band, TWINK performed at Big Red, London in November 2014 and played his songs from the ‘Think Pink’ album and songs from his previous bands: Tomorrow and The Pink Fairies .
