The Milestones Biography
The Milestones formed in June 2014 with Alexander Wandres (vocals/guitar) and Christopher Metz (guitar/vocals). They set out to make rough and ragged indie dance rock with a garage punk vein, equal parts The Strokes, Kings of Leon, and Sonic Youth. Rooted in Frederick, the band cut their teeth playing local bars and quickly began to develop a dynamic, powerful, and cinematic sound with an electric live performance. They recorded the Old Souls EP and have been playing gigs all around Baltimore, DC and Frederick. Since formation, John Love (drums) and Jason Alford (bass) have found their place in the group. They have hit their songwriting stride and recently released their next EP, ‘Honey.'
