Joining resident DJ BobaFatt this month are two incredible selectors, #JustCallMeTeddy & Chris P Cuts. #JustCallMeTeddy Just Call Me Teddy Teddy (formerly known as Big Ted) came into the DJ game after being inspired by a wave of 80’s pirate radio greats. Since then he’s held down a series of notable hip hop shows on the airwaves, including The Friday Nite Flava on Choice FM with DJ 279, a decade hosting the hip hop show on Kiss FM with Shortee Blitz, and a five-year stint solo on Mi-Soul Radio with the Fresh Stuff. Through these various radio projects over the years, he’s interviewed a phenomenal number of A-list hip hop artists, including Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Wu-Tang Clan, KRS-One, Queen Latifah, Kool Herc, De La Soul, Run DMC, Pete Rock, Kanye West, Big L, Ice Cube, Nas, Dizzee Rascal and Kano, to name JUST a few, as well as hosting shows & sharing stages across the globe with the likes of Eminem, EPMD, Big Daddy Kane, The Roots & Destiny’s Child, additionally to sharing turntables with legends like Cash Money, Jazzy Jeff & DJ Premier! A long-time tour DJ for Blak Twang, and most recently Kingdem (along with Ty & Rodney P), and a solid resident at the infamous Supa Dupa Fly sessions, Teddy has been a mainstay on the UK club scene for years. We’re gassed he’ll be joining us for his Main Squeeze debut! Chris P Cuts Chris P Cuts has established himself as one of the most diverse and perpetually evolving DJ's in the UK. Mastering his art through years of gigs, live shows, radio appearances, record digging and partying in sweaty basements, his sets have ignited venues across London, the UK and Europe. Chris has toured and performed with a number of artists over the years, including Roots Manuva, Dizzee Rascal, Iris Gold, Spoek Mathambo, Jehst & Melanin 9. Additionally to residencies over the years from The Doctor’s Orders and Big Chill, he hosts a popular monthly show on NTS Radio, and has also appeared on Rinse FM, Kiss FM and Boiler Room. A truly eclectic selector and a firm favourite for us at Main Squeeze, it’s always a pleasure to have him back on the turntables to throw down. Bobafatt Main Squeeze co-founder BobaFatt has been DJing since the early '90s. His mixes, radio shows and club sets have seen him awarded acclaim over the years from BBC 1Xtra, Mixcloud & Fact Magazine. In addition to a decade-long residency at Big Chill and a monthly Friday night show on Soho Radio, he's spun several times for Huey Morgan on BBC Radio 6, following 5 years on hip hop station, Itch FM, and played at legendary venues such as Royal Albert Hall, Ministry Of Sound, Fabric, Brixton Academy, The Roundhouse, Koko, The Jazz Cafe & Somerset House. He was also a resident at Soundwave Festival in Croatia, has worked for Rough Trade and R&S, provided session work/mixes for Ninja Tune's Solid Steel, DJ Yoda & Death Waltz Records, and is currently label manager of First Word Records, named 'Label Of The Year' at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards 2019 and home to Children of Zeus, 14KT, Kaidi Tatham & others.
