SUPEREGO are pleased to announce their latest single ‘Caller ID’, the next from their upcoming debut EP anticipated for release in the second half of 2019. After the ferocious energy of previous single ‘Burn’, which was released as a surprise in April, ‘Caller ID’ sees members Toby Batchelor & Lachlan Dymond at the forefront further showcasing the dynamic nature of Superego as a collective.SUPEREGO are a collective of producers, rappers, singers and multi-instrumentalists out of Fremantle, WA, who want to push the boundaries of hip-hop in Australia. After transitioning from POW Negro in 2018, their sound has taken on a new direction. The 5 piece deliver experimental, electronically influenced, drum driven tracks with thoughtful and often aggressive bars and glitchy sax lines. Having shared stages with the likes of Midnight Oil, Blackalicious, Remi, Sampa The Great, as well as having collaborated with imbi the girl on their track ‘i used to’, SUPEREGO is ready to introduce their unique blend of sounds and influences.Brought together through their love of hip-hop production and unique live music, SUPEREGO have quickly gained a reputation around Australia for their energetic and enigmatic live show.
