David's Tent SoCal 2019 will be held at the beautiful Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego, CA. Thousands of people will gather together from all over the world to worship with one voice in Southern California at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on October 10th-13th, 2019. The event begins at 5 pm on Thursday, October 10th and continues until 5 pm on Sunday, October 13th. David’s Tent originated in England in 2012, where a passionate group came together to launch a festival where the main focus was only to praise and worship God’s goodness. What started off as a grassroots gathering has since grown in its 8th Annual Festival in the UK that now gathers over 6,000 attendees. San Diego, California is the next stop for David’s Tent, which is the very first time the Festival will be launched outside of the UK. Well-known international and regional worship leaders, such as, Jonathan David Helser, Jason Upton, Steffany Gretzinger, Jeremy Riddle, Amanda Lindsey Cook, Sean Feucht, Jaye Thomas and Olivia Buckles from Kansas City International House of Prayer, Lindy Conant, Gospel House, Ryan Ellis, Michelle Lutz, from Expression58, Rich Dicas, Craig and Karlet Muster, Danny O’Callaghan, Heather Nunn, Henry Haney from Beach Chapel, Gospel House, Andrew Hopkins, OC Worship Nights Community, Stephen Gulley with All Peoples Worship, Love Movement Ministries, and many more regional worship teams will be leading throughout the 3 days. There will be camping, food and merchandise vendors, teaching sessions, prayer, ministry and many opportunities for attendees to connect with like-minded people in one amazing location. All are welcome to attend and experience this one of a kind unifying worship gathering in San Diego, CA.

Jason Upton Biography
Jason Upton was adopted in 1973. He grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At the age of fifteen he began ministering in churches all over the United States. At this time he also won the Christian Artist Music Seminar in Estes Park, Colorado, and recorded his first recording. He continued to travel and began writing music at eighteen, and at twenty-one recorded his first original recording. In December 1995 Jason married Rachel, his wife. Shortly after their marriage they both had an encounter with God that left them searching for something more than merely going to churches to sing. They wanted to make a long lasting impact on the communities where they were invited. During their time at Regent University, finishing their Master's of Divinity programs, they set up a worship room in their home where they regularly gathered with other worshipers to pray and intercede.
It was during these intimate worship gatherings that they began to intertwine music with all forms of worship and prayer found in the Bible. They soon realized that the songs God was giving Jason were not simply songs but keys that would open and shut doors in the spirit realm. This culminated in a live worship recording entitled "Key of David." In the fall of 2001, Jason and Rachel ministered at the Call Dc, Nepal, Indonesia, India, and in cities all over the U.S. In addition they have released a new worship album on 40records entitled Faith.
On January 9, 2001 Jason and Rachel had their first child, Samuel James. Jason, Rachel, Samuel, and their yellow lab "Hudson Taylor" currently reside in Norfolk, Virginia.
