Your Hands Write History

Your Hands Write History is a progressive metal outfit established in the evergreen reaches of southern Oregon whose sound blends elements of ethereal atmospheric melody with pulse pounding rhythmic chaos. They have carved their way up the west coast on several brief tours while additionally self releasing two music videos alongside their debut 5 track ep "The Pentateuch", followed by a two part concept ep "Rest / Eternal" which was accompanied by visual elements. Your Hands Write History’s passion driven live performance captivates the attention of onlookers with waves of genuine emotional force, engaging crowd interaction and dynamic music composition. Painted with heartfelt and poetic lyrical themes, the band aims to connect with their listeners through sharing true stories, metaphorical imageries and open thought progressions. Being built from the ground up through a strong DIY work ethic and the experience gained from previous musical endeavors, Your Hands Write History has developed themselves as a tried and true project and is now entirely self sustained with music writing, recording and production, photography, videography, merch design, branding and tour booking. Your Hands Write History is currently engaged with recording their space themed multi release conceptual project "Luna | Terra | Sol" which features 12 powerful tracks spanning an immensely wide spectrum of lush soundscapes and dark emotional abrasions. The first release has a projected release date, accompanied by a long release tour in Fall 2017.
