Keep Britain Irish Biography

It began in an unfinished basement in Littleton, Colorado as friends getting together and playing Irish Drinking songs. What soon resulted was Keep Britain Irish made up of four long time friends. Irish music was the common theme between guys who had very eclectic tastes.

Aaron Langton is a long time musician who makes the Stratocaster sing. Aaron spent many years tickling the ivories building his talent at music. Jamey Evans lends his voice to most of the songs while strumming the acoustic rhythm guitar. Years of singing and dabbling on the guitar have culminated in being the front man to Keep Britain Irish. Many years of marching band and fooling around in his garage brought Steve “Loverboy” Brosius to be pounding the skins in the band. Whether playing the kit or the bodhron, Steve lends his style to the sound. We even let him out to sing two songs….just two! Corey “Cdawg” Johnson grew up the son of a musician and band director. Having done some professional singing he also has always been fascinated by stringed instruments, learning to play as many as he can. Corey lays down the mandolin, penny whistle and the harmonica while provinding lead and backup vocals. We say we are a drinking band which means we want every time we play to be a party. We will keep it traditional with the Irish Pub songs, yet, we will also get our Irish on in music by the Pogues, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys and the Young Dubliners. Our influences can be felt in our non Irish choices of our Ska-Irish Land Down Under or the driving rhythms of Johnny Cash or Rockin’ the Free World.

We formed a band to have fun and we want you to have fun with us. Come and check us out, we look forward to seeing you.

Slainte…see you at the pub.
