Gus Harrower Biography
Gus Harrower returns to the stage with his electrifying band for the first time in over two and a half years. Since his last live performance, he has focused his time working as a session musician which has seen him perform at some of the country’s biggest venues and festivals. Gus has also been heavily involved with the Dementia-friendly community in Scotland and is currently producing two full-length albums featuring the songs and stories of people living with Dementia. “All of this other work informs my writing and my creativity so I’m so proud to be involved with it,” he explains.
His strength as an artist lies, not just in his technical skill but also in his versatility. From melancholic melodies to upbeat pop hooks, his ability to take listeners on a voyage through his personal experience is formidable. As a pianist, a blend of jazzy pop and classical training produces a captivating unpredictability which leads, invariably, to a gripping and cathartic resolution.
