Sinusoidal Biography
Sinusoidal – is a Polish electronic music band whose music is influenced by trip hop and downtempo. Sinusoidal consists of producer Michal Siwak, singer-songwriter Adrianna Styrcz and pianist Andrzej Jeżewski. Sinusoidal released an EP in June of 2011. Three months later they published their debut album „Out Of The Wall” which was succesfull in Poland, had great reviews and was acclaimed as one of the best Polish electronic albums of the year 2011. In January 2012 single „Little Stories Rework” received positive critical acclaim on BBC’s ”Gary Crowley's New Music Show”. Since September of 2011 Sinusoidal played lots of concerts in Poland and abroad, supported such bands as Little Dragon or Lamb during their Polish tour, shared also a stage with such artists as The KDMS, Sub Focus, Disclosure, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and many more. Although getting their start in Wroclaw, Poland, Sinusoidal are more commonly associated with the Bristol-based trip hop sound that was popular during the 1990s. Aside from trip hop, their musical style is a distinctive mixture of jazz, breaks and ambient, with a strong vocal element and, in their latest works especially, some 2-step and chillwave influences. After 4 years, new album called '108' was released in July 2015. Management - sinusoidal.info@gmail.com
