BARELY ALIVE Tickets, Tour Dates and Concerts
About this concert
Barely Alive is back with special guest, Ryan Brown!!! Saturday, August 17th, at HB Social Club. Tickets ON SALE NOW! With 5 consecutive Beatport number 1s, over six million streams in the last 12 months off the back of their lively social media interaction, and collaborations and remixes for Zomboy, Datsik, SKisM, Excision, Destroid, Astronaut, Getter and more under their belt, few can deny that Barely Alive are one of the most exciting and fastest growing bass music acts to emerge over the last year. The duo originating from Massachusetts, USA initially made a name for themselves when they released their debut EP through Disciple Recordings in early 2014 to global acclaim, hitting the number one spot across 4 different genre charts on Beatport in just 24 hours. This made Barely Alive an over night success, and to this date they have been labelled just under Skrillex as the second hottest dubstep artists of 2014 on Beatport.International touring soon followed across the United States, Europe and the rest of the world, with Barely Alive making up one of the core artists of the Disciple Alliance tours, the Datsik Ninja Nation tour along side Trolley Snatcha and Kennedy Jones, and multiple headline tours in Australia, New Zealand, France and more. They have received regular DJ support from acts such as Skrillex, Datsik, Excision, Far Too Loud and Zomboy, as well as making regular appearances on huge online music platforms such as UKF, EDM.com, NEST HQ, This Song Is Sick, and a guest mix for the renowned BBC Radio 1.This is just the start for Barely Alive, who within their first year at Disciple found themselves well on their way to becoming a future headline act.https://www.facebook.com/barelyalivemusic/https://www.instagram.com/barelyaliveus__________ ♫ Venue ♫ __________1680 Kapiolani Blvd 2nd Floor, Honolulu, HI 9681418+ to dance21+ to drinkUNDER 21 NO RE-ENTRY AFTER 11 PM__________ ♫ Partners ♫ __________Audiophile Entertainment / Rave Rock Hawaiihttps://www.facebook.com/weareaudiophilehttps://www.facebook.com/TheRaveRockHiRise Up Electrichttps://www.facebook.com/riseupelectric/Specto Entertainmenthttps://www.facebook.com/spectoentertainment/Hawaiian Brian'shttps://www.facebook.com/hawaiinbrians/Ardencyhttps://www.facebook.com/ArdencyHIMy 95.9https://www.facebook.com/My959/

I cannot recommend this show enough! A great mix of heavy drops and classic 80s sound. This particular iteration was at a great medium size venue. I could not stop dancing or smiling for the whole set

BARELY ALIVE Biography

Since 2013, Massachusetts natives Willie Watkins and Matt Meier have had one goal: dominate the dubstep and bass music world. Currently residing in Long Beach, CA, the two producers met in middle school and grew up together with a shared passion for music. Under the name Barely Alive, the two have been pioneering their genre for nearly 10 years and are well known and respected by listeners and fellow producers alike for their unique cross of heavy bass sound design with 80s-inspired synthwave musicality.
The first new act to sign to Disciple, the two have kept the entire scene on their toes, regularly releasing hard-hitting EPs and singles as well as two full-length albums, and releasing on other labels such as Never Say Die, OWSLA, Monstercat, Mad Decent and Dim Mak. Their collaboration credits include Virtual Riot, 12th Planet, Snails and Getter, and they have remixed for DJ Snake, Excision, Zomboy, Eptic and others. The two are also known for making sample packs that are invaluable to other producers, with all 3 of their current releases hitting #1 on the Splice charts, highlighting their skills in music production.
Touring as a singular box-headed figure, the ever-angry anthropomorphism of the duo's logo, Barely Alive has been seen on festival stages across the globe, including EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, Tomorrowland, Coachella and Rampage, as well as headline shows in nearly every continent including Australia, Europe, South America, Asia, and across the US.
