About this concert
The international, literature-inspired performance series, Bushwick Book Club, presents new songs, art, film and snacks inspired by Mira Jacob's new graphic memoir GOOD TALK. Author Mira Jacob will be in attendance and giving a reading in addition to the new creative responses from 13 local songwriters, choreographers, artists and chefs to Jacob's candid and nuanced expression of her experience growing up in one of the few East Indian families in 70's/80's New Mexico and raising a child in an interracial family in the years leading up to the Trump presidency.
