The Monarch is Holmesburg's first and only recurring pop-up beer garden! We are a one-of-a-kind community development beer garden and community fund that aims to create a happier and healthier Holmesburg by engaging residents and supporting initiatives that strengthen the neighborhood's residential blocks and improve its commercial corridors. Admission is $10 (including one beer). Additional beer, as well as cider and cocktails, are available for purchase at the event. Proceeds from The Monarch Beer Garden go to The Monarch Fund and are put directly into community development projects in Holmesburg, with a focus on safety and beautification. Initiatives supported by The Monarch include residential security cameras, commercial and residential lighting, high-quality public art, community cleanups, and neighborhood greenery.
