Manchester Aid to Kosovo will be joined by some of the finest musicians from Manchester and Kosovo. Manchester celebrates 20 years of recovery in Kosovo and also in Manchester with art and music from those who who have supported the charity’s projects during the last 20 years. Formed in 1999, MaK’s work continues in education, art, music, medicine, sport, and the creation of the 21 acre Manchester Peace Park in Kosovo. 100% of any donated funds will support MaK projects. The seated, free concert (donations invited) is part of the September MaK exhibition Kosovo20 // Welcome Sanctuary Recovery (Manchester Cathedral 3.9.19 to 24.9.19). The exhibition will be open. All welcome. MaK is grateful for ongoing support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for its oral history archive work, VOKIM, Voices of Kosovo in Manchester.
