Adrian West Band

The Adrian West Band performs at the Ivy Room, along with Ian Acredolo and Matt Jaffe, for their upcoming release of The Human Touch, their second full-length album! - Adrian West Band plays original acoustic rock that sounds like Paul Simon collaborating with Talking Heads, with Dave Matthews playing cowbell. The band features vocal harmonies, acoustic guitar, electric violin, bass, drums, sometimes sax or keys, and a bit of live "looping”. - Ian Acredolo explores nuanced emotional themes in his music. His inspiration comes from combining pop music form, with R&B vocals, and percussive guitar. Often compared to John Mayer, Ian embraces the singer-songwriter tradition, aiming to continually improve and deepen his original music. - Matt Jaffe is a singer/songwriter from San Francisco. Cutting his teeth on open mics around the Bay Area, Matt started pursuing music more seriously when JERRY HARRISON of Talking Heads offered to produce his first record. Since then, Matt has churned out more songs than he can remember the words to, oversaturated the market with gigs (opening for folks like MAVIS STAPLES, WILCO, and BLUES TRAVELER), and co-written with the likes of CHUCK PROPHET and TOM HIGGENSON of the Plain White T's.
