Roberta Nicholls

Born in centre of the Mediterranean, the Island of Malta, Roberta has Sicilian and English Roots. Her music journal started at high school when she joined a band for a few months as a drummer. After this time during Roberta started following closely the electronic scene, where she was also a dancer in massive events, such as MTV parties and other huge events with headline Dj's like Tiesto and Sasha. Moving to 20’s Roberta was a presenter on variety of TV shows. During that same time, she also ran a weekly show on a local Radio station which was when Roberta started learning the ropes. Thereafter for quite some time Roberta focused more on her studies where she later became a qualified Accountant and pursued her career job for a couple of years. In 2007 Roberta moved to London to carry on with her work, but she soon finds out that she cannot let go of her deep connection with the music. She started getting involved in the music industry as a promoter and through this she met various Artists, amongst others Tre Lowe from The Architects who inspired her to get back on the decks whilst supporting her knowledge of new music genres and trends. In her sets she is best known for her groovy and hypnotic sounds, fervent vocals with elements of minimal and techno. During a very short period of time of 2 years Roberta has performed 10 different countries and different cities in some Festivals and various Top Ranking Clubs such alongside Big Artists to name a few Riva Starr, Matthias Tanzmann, Guti, Hot Since 82, Mind Against, Luciano and many more. Roberta is investing a lot of her time in production to shape her own sounds.
