About this concert
BBC Studios' acclaimed Planet Earth II concert series is finally coming to New Zealand, featuring jaw-dropping footage from Sir David Attenborough's much-loved BBC Earth series, which will be projected on to a large cinema-sized screen. Audience members will take a trip to some of the most surreal places on earth, from the roaring jungles of Madagascar to the icy caps of the Antarctic. The incredible Academy Award-winning score, created by German-born and renowned Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer with Jacob Shea and Jasha Klebe, will be performed by our very own Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. It's one thing to watch this breath-taking footage at home, but Planet Earth II Live in Concert will be a sensory experience you'll never forget. BBC Studios National History Unit production, co-produced with BBC America, ZDF, Tencent and France Télévisions. Presenter: Clarke Gayford
