Celebrate banned literature and First Amendment rights at Wordier Than Thou's Banned Books Are a Drag show & fundraiser. Drag performers from throughout the Tampa Bay area will interpret some of the most beloved banned books in the world, including literary classics and children's favorites. Local authors will also read their racier works during our Future Banned Books segment. Drag performers and authors to be announced. We'll play interactive games with fun prizes, including Banned Books Bingo and trivia. There will also be a raffle drawing with a variety of prizes. Additional programming to be announced. Beer, wine, soda and water will be available for a donation.
