Right now, it feels ready for a new voice and vision. Sammie provides both on his 2019 fifth full-length, Everlasting [Starcamp Music/EMPIRE]. The multi-platinum artist, songwriter, and crooner delivers a pure, passionate, and powerful take on the genre informed by a lifetime in music and immense growth. It also turns the page on his biggest and brightest chapter yet. “I feel like music is full circle,” exclaims Sammie. “True R&B is about real singing and lyrics with meaning. That’s what I want to bring back. I’m here to catch your spirit and heart in a warm musical embrace. I’ve finally got the confidence to go in and create exactly what I feel my fans want from me. It’s what I’ve been working towards the whole time.” He’s been diligently working towards this moment since 1999, to be exact. At the age of twelve, he broke through to mainstream popularity by way of the single “I Like It.” It set the stage for his 2000 full-length debut, From The Bottom to the Top, which vaulted into the Top 10 on the Billboard R&B Chart. The follow-up, Sammie, yielded smashes such as “You Should Be My Girl” [feat. Sean Paul of Youngbloodz] and “Come With Me.” Beyond solo success, he lent his voice to Soulja Boy’s Billboard Top 5 mega-hit “Kiss Me Thru the Phone” and co-wrote “Next Breath” for Tank. Following a break, he re-introduced himself on the 2016 I’m Him EP as the title track racked up 7 million-plus Spotify streams. In 2017, comeback season ramped up. His fourth record and accompanying documentary, Coming of Age, earned widespread acclaim from Vibe, The Source, and ThisisRnB. Hypebeast wrote, “The album’s sonic landscape indeed embraces the past, fitting between two worlds: that of the ‘90s-facing classic R&B that shaped his early music, and the more hip-hop centered brand of R&B popular today.” It bowed at #2 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums Chart as the follow-up EP, 31873.0, took #1 a year later. Along the way, he supported one of his idols, Tank, on the Savage Tour. In many ways, the jaunt set the stage for Everlasting. “Tank’s my big brother,” he smiles. “On our last show in Delaware, he gave me one of his chains. He told me the chain signified an extension of himself. When he sees me, he sees a younger Tank. I felt the same thing looking at him. I was honored to be on a stage with a veteran who’s been an influence for so long. He’s an illustration of longevity and getting better with time. There was no better tour for me to return.” On the road, he compiled voice notes of initial song concepts. At home, he opened up his MacBook and revisited these ideas for what would become Everlasting. The title essentially took on a few meanings. “I was going through a breakup at the time, so I had a lot of emotions and real experiences to pull from,” he continues. “My mother told me every relationship–happy or sad and one-night stand or fling–would have an everlasting effect on the man I’d eventually become. She was right. That’s what led to the title.” The first single “Times 10” [feat. Lil Baby] highlights his dynamic range over a sultry beat and airy guitar. In between Sammie’s show-stopping verses and stunning hook, Lil Baby makes a knockout cameo. “In my love life, I’m a pleaser, so it’s kind of self-explanatory,” he laughs. “If she’s providing it, I want to reciprocate it times 10. I’m bringing love back to the radio in the sense of an actual spiritual and physical bond.” Dripping with charisma and charm, the follow-up single “Playlist” comes to life as “a sex jam to add to your playlist, so the fellas thank me and the women feel sexy.” Elsewhere, “H.L.I.T.L.” taps into an island-style groove with an upbeat bounce, illuminating a new style altogether for him. “On ‘H.L.I.T.L’, you’re experiencing a feeling you haven’t had in a long time from a woman,” he says. “It’s the honeymoon phase of a relationship. You’re happy to experience love the right way.” More confident than ever before, Sammie’s music ultimately remains Everlasting. “I hope people continue to hear the growth,” he leaves off. “I don’t believe there’s a ceiling. I just want to keep getting better and better time after time. I don’t want to sound like anybody else either. I want to be the best Sammie I have to offer this world. I pride myself on being a true vocalist. I hope you feel the passion that I have not just in the studio but on stage. That’s real R&B, and it lasts.” Kissie Lee  Phenomenal talent is something that is rarely discovered in today’s music world, which is filled with cookie-cutter artists and sounds. Kissie Lee is the music lover’s breath of fresh air as she not only writes, sings, dances and performs her own original music, but she does so with grace, beauty, style and class. Through all of this, Kissie Lee, German born – Denver raised, is still never satisfied. A “Suburban Misfit” is what she calls herself. When she moved to Atlanta she hit the ground running with music, writing, and acting.  She has had the opportunity to work with many ground-breaking producers such as; DJ Toomp (T.I), Boi Wonda (Drake), DJ Camper (Keyshia Cole), Justice League (Rick Ross), D-Town (Beyonce, Usher) just to name a few. When she isn’t writing records for herself she is penning records for other rising stars and legends in the business.

Damar Jackson Biography

Damar Jackson BIO (Singer/Songwriter/Producer) It’s hard to miss Damar Jackson when he walks into a room. His 6’1” frame crowned by shoulder length locks renders even more impressive by confidence that makes it clear he knows exactly where he comes from and where he belongs. Warranted confidence--the singer-songwriter-producer born and raised in DeRidder, LA follows in the footsteps of great contemporaries such as Ledisi, Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, August Alsina, and Frank Ocean, all who have gobbled up rhythmic lessons in the regions rich musical landscape. Besides that, Damar Jackson has already put points on the board having contributed his songwriting and production prowess to the success of K-Camp’s debut release, Onl y Way Is Up, with “ Comfortable,” a song that has seen more than 45 million views & is certified platinum on Vevo. Under the tutelage of Family Ties Entertainment industry executives J.R. McKee and Leland “Big Fruit” Clopton , Damar continues to perfect his craft. In addition to his musicianship, Damar has also learned the business side of the record business, studying the A&R and marketing process intently while constantly making himself an asset to the Family Ties team. “It’s been amazing to witness Damar’s growth firsthand,” says Fruit, with whom Damar shares quite a few co-production credits. “I’m sure he’s going to have an advantage over his peers due to his music business insight and he undoubtedly adds a refreshing energy to the industry as a singer, songwriter, and musician.” But there is more, once the multi-instrumentalist steps onto a stage, it becomes absolutely undeniable: R&B newc omer Damar Jackson is a star. He honed his skills early as a young prodigy. At the age of nine, Jackson had already mastered the drums and began playing and performing for his church. His mother, also a singer in the church, fully nurtured his talent, enrolling him in music lessons as soon as she discovered her son’s innate talent. By the time he was in high school, Damar knew exactly where he was headed; the only question was how. “When I was in high school, if you wanted to get money you were either selling candy, drugs or mixtapes,” he recalls. “So I had this song I wrote with my boy. I figured out how to record it on my keyboard and put that one song on a bunch of blank CDs.” Damar Jackson succeeded in selling eighty copies of that self-recorded CD single, it was then that he knew he would have to find a way out of Louisiana in order to reach his destiny. A band scholarship would lead him to the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and while there, Damar continued to create opportunities to promote his music all while honing his craft. “The whole time I was in school, I was creating my sound,” he says. “I turned my room into a recording studio.” As he wrote and produced his own music, he became a resource for others looking for a producer, allowing him to fully develop his skills in the recording process. As a performer, he booked and promoted his own shows, which lead to opportunities to open for artists like Bobby V , Day 26 and Ludacris . As he prepared for graduation as a Mass Communications major, a chance Twitter encounter lead him to an internship with Def Jam Records’ Atlanta office. With $300 to his name, Damar set course for his future and has yet to look back. Today, he stands prepared to apply what he’s learned as he presents his music to the world. Damar Jackson’s candor allows him to offer fans a level of honesty and vulnerability in his music rarely seen in today’s R&B. His debut EP "Unfaithful" in which he revisits the last days of the relationship that sustained him during his early years in Atlanta, is an emotional rollercoaster; both musically and lyrically. “We got to a point where she saw the success coming,” he explains, “but even though I thought we had been preparing for the late nights and work trips, it started driving her crazy.” As he puts the finishing touches on his debut album, from which the single is drawn, Damar Jackson promises more of the same, “I tell the truth about what men really feel about relationships but aren’t honest about how they deal with the consequences and outcome and how it really affects them.” With this project nearly ready for the public, Damar Jackson is already setting his sights on the future, and not just as an artist, but also as a multi-faceted force for years to come.
