About this concert
Emerging singer/songwriter Anna Larson, along with fellow Austin band Those Poor Serfs, will be bringing their brand of Texas Soul-Americana to The Americana, Thursday June 6. Story-telling, soul-filled vocal harmonies, and musicianship of the highest quality fill this night of Texas music.
Larson, hailed as “an Austin artist worth watching” by Peter Blackstock of the Austin-American Stateman, delivers songs rife with Texas soul and Americana. Her keyboard-driven songwriting is paired with the blue-laden guitar of Derek Kinsaul, who fronts Austin band Those Poor Serfs.
Larson and Kinsaul will be joining forces, sharing a band and creating a night drenched in vocal harmony and full of guest solos and musical spontaneity. [Organizer's description]
