Lauren Hall Biography

Rising Country artist and songwriter, Lauren Hall, delivers a sound that is all her own stemming from her low country roots, organic edge, and a touch of tradition. Hall’s acoustic driven, contemporary Country sound comes from influences that range from timeless artists like Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, and Alison Krauss, to more modern Country-pop songstresses such as Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves. This born and raised Charleston native spent most of her middle through high school years playing anywhere and everywhere around the Carolina’s whether it be local bars, her own headlining shows or being support for national artists at festivals. Now at the age of 25 she has grown a dedicated fanbase playing 80-100 shows yearly. Hall has opened for national acts such as Travis Tritt, Tracy Lawrence, Gary Allan, David Nail, Tyler Farr, Thompson Square, Chris Janson, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Maddie & Tae, LANCO, Carly Pearce, Mitchell Tenpenny, Riley Green, Walker Hayes, Parmalee and others. Hall has been awarded “Best Female Vocalist” over the last 3 years in Charleston City Paper's Best of Charleston and “Country/America Artist of the Year” in the 2020 Charleston City Paper Music Awards. Hall’s recent singles have held spots on some of Spotify’s editorial playlists and as a result she has gained a good base of listeners. The second release from Hall’s upcoming EP, “Gone”, also had radio success on some of Charleston’s biggest radio stations, one of them being 92.5 Kickin Country, who added Hall’s single into their regular rotation with some of Country music’s hottest mainstream acts reaching a large audience of listeners daily. Hall’s music video for another follow-up single, “Thank You Very Much”, premiered on CMT.com last year and shortly after she released a full length EP which was recorded in Nashville. The EP “Broke My Heart Just Enough” features songs co-written & produced by Curb Records songwriter, Phillip Lammonds, who has collaborated with artists such as Lee Brice, Kellie Pickler, Kip Moore, and others. The EP was also produced by Dan Frizsell, most recently known for producing “Rumor” by Lee Brice, which was nominated in the 2020 ACM Awards for “Single of the Year”. Hall recently opened for Brice as well and joined him on stage to sing he and Carly Pearce’s hit, “I Hope You’re Happy Now”. In 2022 Hall plans to release more new music and eventually a new album expected later this fall. Recently Hall was announced on the lineup for two noteable Country music festivals, Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach and Riverfront Revival in Charleston, SC, the first ever curated music festival by fellow Charleston native and Grammy award winning Country artist, Darius Rucker
