Tyler Goforth Band Biography
"Decatur, Georgia native Tyler Goforth broke in to the Atlanta scene as a solo singer/songwriter. His debut single, “Forty Miles to Macon” circulated on Atlanta radio throughout 2018, and won “ Best Music Film” in the 2017 Macon Film Festival. Focusing on his early love for rock n’roll, Goforth joined up with Matt Jones (guitar), Collin Rucker (bass), and Alex May (drums) to create Tyler Goforth Band. Blending alternative rock, blues, and folk, Tyler Goforth Band released their new EP in March 2019. The first single, “Mountains,” delivers uplifting lyrics and an upbeat alt-rock sound that mirrors the band’s live energy. Tyler Goforth Band is currently playing shows throughout Georgia in support of their new release."
