MUCC

A 3-piece rock band consisting of Tatsuro (vocal), Miya (guitar), and YUKKE (bass). Formed in 1997.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2017, MUCC has continued to create new music with more and more enthusiasm. While treasuring the melody in the hearts of the Japanese people, MUCC has constantly been in pursuit of a new sound, taking in all kinds of genres such as rock, metal, punk, dance, rap, mixture… Like a single lifeform called “MUCC”, the band continues to make music that is completely unique. Since its formation, the band has been actively holding as many concerts in as many places as they can, both within and outside of Japan. MUCC has held nearly 150 concerts in 13 countries including in Europe, America, China, Russia, and South America., MUCC has also performed at large-scale music festivals like the Wacken Open Air, Sweden Rock Festival, Metaltown Festival, Tuska Open Air Metal Festival etc., gaining much rave reviews. In addition, the band has also performed as the supporting act in the Japan concerts of numerous foreign artists including Guns N' Roses, The Smashing Pumpkins, Good Charlotte, and AFI. The band also proudly performed as the headliner for the Japan concert on the tour. Gaining a solid reputation as a tough live band that is active throughout the world, MUCC’s performances are highly praised.
