Suburban Park Biography
Started in October of 2017 in San Diego, California, Suburban Park combines the styles of post-hardcore/modern day pop punk with elements of soft-grunge and shoegaze.
The band consists of guitarist Izaek Bulibek, bassist Karl Forster, guitarist Artie Nazarov, and drummer Adrian Maier. The group started off as a throwback to early day pop punk and slowly transitioned their style to an emo/spoken word sound once they released their first demo Flower Presser on Soundcloud and Bandcamp. After facing a series of writer’s block in the process of producing a six song EP, the band scrapped all plans and decided to change their sound once again based on the music made by their current influences, such as Title Fight, Citizen, Basement, Homesafe, and Turnstile. On March 1st of 2019, they released their single Corduroy produced by Kaylee Kussman and mixed/mastered by Daniel Wand of Capsize. Suburban Park plans on touring through different cities and releasing several more songs throughout the remainder of 2019.
