Daise Biography

The band came together in 2015 when the members music paths intersected. They have basically known each other since they’ve been 14 as they grew up around the same group of people but never really hung out except 2 of them. Eli (vocals) and Edwin (lead guitar) were in a band together where they explored into the dreamy dark sound of music. As the sound progressed and life shifted JB (bass) joined the group to add his part to the collective. Luke (drummer) the last member, joined when the band needed a drummer. As they developed their catchy sound and the band became complete they eliminated the old name and decided to rebrand everything from scratch. Daise became the name they established.

San Bernardino's very own Daise shed light on the dark area with their blissful indie-pop sounds, surely crafted to make you move. The four-piece group met through their love of music, ranging from traditional indie-rock sounds remnant of Two Door Cinema Club, all the way to progressive/math-rock remnant of Chon. Though true to their many, many influences, Daise have crafted their own unique sound with grooving basslines provided by Justin Barner, impeccable timing and percussion by Luke Johnson, echoing leads that drive the band forward by Edwin Robles, and the soft-spoken angelic voice that ties it all together by Elijah DeLeon. Daise have made quite the splash with their debut entitled "Bewilder", a 5-track collection of songs from the band that are sure to show you what Daise is all about. Songs like "Blackroom" and "Portamento" show that Daise are here for now, and they are here to stay, indefinitely.
