Soul Filter

The Alt Rock Pop band from Summerside Prince Edward Island blends rock, pop, blues and folk to create a nostalgic yet contemporary alternative rock pop 90s sound.  Their latest singles “Quicksand Town” and “The City Knows” were both semi-finalists in the The International Songwriting Competition, the former being produced and co-written by John Angus MacDonald of The Trews. In 2020 Soul Filter’s debut album "A Minor Conspiracy" garnered them a Music PEI nomination for Rock Recording of the Year. Band members include Karen Penton on lead vocals and acoustic rhythm guitar, Marc Robichaud on drums, Ronnie Arsenault on bass & Mike Penton on electric guitar.
