John Brazile

John Brazile is a singer-songwriter from Massachusetts whose specific brand of Country music owes its roots as much to John Mellencamp's "Small Town" as it does to the music of Travis Tritt, Eric Church and Jason Aldean. John's upcoming album, "Life Behind Bars", is a tongue-in-cheek reference, not to prison bars, but to the night-club bars where John makes his living playing cover songs into the early hours of the morning. "At first it sounds like a sad album title, like it's about jail," he says. "But the emphasis here is on the word LIFE. Meaning, these are stories about the lives of the people that come in and out of the bars where I play." While the lyrical narratives are decidedly COUNTRY, John incorporates subtle musical elements from the EDM, Hip Hop and Hard Rock genres. Having spent several years learning and experiencing Nashville's songwriter scene, John believes he has settled on a style and a voice that feels true to himself. The album will be available this Thanksgiving, with a Nov 24th release show at Loretta's Last Call in Boston, MA.
