Following time spent living and recording in London and Los Angeles, Gurnsey released his debut album Physical this year on Erol Alkan's label Phantasy. Produced in conjunction with Alkan himself, it’s a sensational, futurist dance pop record and seamlessly shifts his sound away from the stripped back aesthetic of Factory Floor.
