James A. Bennett Biography
For his entire life, James has had music running through his veins.
Sat at the organ in his Great Grandma’s living room, James would play for hours, just hitting keys and making noise.
As he got older his musical taste’s and interest’s grew further. Playing back theme tunes on a small keyboard from the age of 2, writing lyrics from the age of 8 and working on full songs at 12; he had his mind set on one thing.
At 14 he recorded his first track that he’d written on an acoustic bought for him on his birthday by his mother and joined his first band at 15.
From there on it was a sequence of different bands and projects, each with different styles, from Folk Rock, Blues, Pop and Classic Rock, to name a few.
2011 saw James join, Six Hour Sundown, giving James the opportunity to play on some of Europe’s biggest stages with some of the world’s biggest names in music, like Soundgarden, Limp Bizkit, Guns n Roses, Slash, You Me At Six and many more; and also to play in cities such as Paris, Madrid, Antwerp and Barcelona.
James’s sound incorporates a lot of genres and styles; blending the influences picked up over the many years of writing and playing, James fuses these together in the mixing pot to create his sound.
