Der Name Flav Martin wird vielen Musikfreunden wahrscheinlich gar nicht so bekannt sein, anders als bei dem Gitarristen und Sänger dürfte das bei seinem musikalischen Partner, Jerry Marotta, dem Schlagzeuger, der Fall sein. Als Session-Drummer arbeitete er bereits mit Musikern wie Peter Gabriel oder Stevie Nicks zusammen. Er ist auch als Produzent tätig und so produzierte er auch ihre gemeinsame Zusammenarbeit, das Album `Soul Redemption`. Schon sehr rasch bemerkt man mit Genuss, dass Profis am Werk sind. Diese Musik ist von Beginn an ausgereift, elegant und sicher im Auftritt. Soft Rock wird so auf harmonische Weise mit Popmusik gepaart!

Jerry Marotta Biography
Jerry Marotta is a world renowned drummer. As well as a multi-instrument musician, producer and composer.
Best known as Peter Gabriel‘s drummer from 1977-1986. But those 10 years with Peter barely scratch the surface of Jerry’s resume.
Prior to joining Peter Gabriel’s band, Jerry drummed on the 1976 smash hit single “Still the One” by Orleans. This would be the first of many hit singles that Jerry’s percussive drumming style would grace.
In addition, Jerry recorded and performed with Hall & Oats, The Indigo Girls, Paul McCartney, Sarah McLachlan, Tears for Fears, Elvis Costello, Warren Zevon, and John Mayer.
