Erin McAndrew Biography
Singer/Songwriter and Cover Artist Erin McAndrew has excited crowds at concert halls, wineries, pubs, charity events and private parties in the Northeastern United States.
Erin doesn’t remember when she started singing, but most people say it was probably before she even started to talk.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Erin decided to take a leap to a different “venue” to pursue her musical ambitions and other goals. While attending Hofstra University, Erin was the lead singer of the Long Island based rock band Tiny Giant, which played the legendary CBGBs (R.I.P.) and other local venues. In this project, she was able to immerse herself in writing, recording, and performing original music, which received regular airplay on Hofstra’s WRHU Radio Station. Though the band has been disbanded for a few years, Erin never put down the microphone and continued to practice polishing her vocalizers by taking voice lessons at the Riverside School of Music in Seaford. In 2015, Erin performed over 25 gigs in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania at various venues.
Erin is influenced by many different vocalists from Kelly Clarkson to Stevie Nicks to Celine Dion. As far as rock goes, Erin is influenced by Lifehouse, Sara Bareilles, Guns N Roses, AC/DC, Joan Jett, and way too many more. In her spare time, Erin likes to go to SoulCycle, hold yoga poses, write, and have a drink with some friends at a local karaoke bar.
