Bassam Bellman Biography
BASSAM is a singer, musician (guitar & bass), songwriter, composer and producer. He was born in 1982 (Paris, France) and started playing music at 13 years old. Two years later, he began to perform on stage, and started going to blues jam-sessions, where he had the opportunity to play with great artists such as Keziah Jones, Corey Harris, or Lucky Peterson... While multiplying musical trips, BASSAM worked on his first album "NOTHIN’ BUT THE BLUES" and could impose himself as a talented bluesman and vocalist, which allowed him to win several blues contests. BASSAM has also performed during the Chicago Blues Festival (2007) with some of the greatest blues artists such as Killer Ray Allison, Johnny Drummer, Tre & Lady Cat... Also, in the past years, he toured with american blues legends like Dave Riley, Ernie Johnson, Earl Green, Sylvia Howard, Lola Gulley & Little Joe Burton (with whom he recorded a live cd, named "Little Joe Burton & The Gang - Live in Paris"). During his career, he had the opportunity to perform in many blues & jazz festivals in France / USA / Canada / Italy / England / Netherlands / North Africa.
