The Pitchfork Music Festival highlights the best in new and emerging music. Since 2006, this independently run festival has consistently proven to be one of the most welcoming, comfortable, reasonably priced, and rewarding weekends of music around. Hosting over 50,000 attendees each year, Pitchfork Music Festival offers a wide array of activities beyond the music. Pitchfork is an all ages event. Children 10 and under can attend for free with an adult. You must obtain a 21+ wristband from an ID checker in order to consume alcohol at the event.    What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? The festival does not provide any parking for festival attendees. There are no sanctioned parking lots for public use in the Union Park area associated with the festival. We recommend using the CTA, Bus, rideshare, or biking. There is a secure bike parking lot located just north of the festival entrance on Ashland.    What can I bring into the event? You can scan your ticket with your phone. Just make sure to have it pulled up and your brightness turned all the way up when you arrive at the gate.
