Don’t miss an enchanting evening of choral music featuring the National Children’s Festival Chorus and the National Festival Chorus at world-renowned Carnegie Hall. Maestro Henry Leck leads the National Children’s Festival Chorus in a wonderful selection of choral anthems, including Vivaldi’s “Tecum Principium” from Dixit Dominus, DiOrio’s “Life Has Loveliness to Sell,” Juneau’s “I Believe in the Sun,” and more. An internationally recognized choral director, Henry Leck is Professor Emeritus of Choral Music at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana and an Honorary Associate Professor at the Hong Kong institute of Teacher Education in Hong Kong. The concert will also feature the National Festival Chorus in a performance of Copland’s “Zion’s Walls,” Handel’s “And the Glory of the Lord” from Messiah and Dilworth’s “I Sing Because I’m Happy” led by esteemed conductors Daniel Bara and Deanna Joseph.
