Tough Guy

Tough Guy is the culmination project belonging to four vets of four different music scenes, from Boston to the Bay Area. Because of this, their sound is eclectic, but focused. Punk, but not exclusively. Ethereal leads and pounding drums collide with driving melodies and wandering bass lines. Combine this with ripping vocals and catchy shout-alongs to relatably communicate emotions we find all too familiar. The underlying tones of the writing are often dark and angry, even hopeless or morose, but sometimes a theme of goal reaching and self-betterment will manifest itself. For we are all more than we seem, even to ourselves. We are Tough Guy...
