Gabriel Sebastian

Blending his influences of harmony-rich indie folk, late 60's pop, and experimental soundscapes, LA-based singer-songwriter Gabriel Sebastián Pontón explores journey of self-discovery in his music. Born in Pasadena California, Pontón initially broke into the music scene as a member of the indie rock band Black Birch Dogs. In 2018, inspired by an artist collective of his peers, he went on to work as a solo artist. His music not only spans a breadth of different genres but also uses instruments from around the world. Drawing from his Ecuadorian and Venezuelan roots, Pontón expresses a unique part of the Latino experience through his songwriting.
