Amethyst Blvd is an American Shoegaze/Alternative band from El Paso, Texas. Fronted by Christian Martinez and Allan Martinez. Heavily influenced by Deftones, Whirr, Nothing, Team Sleep, and Explosions in the Sky. Powered by the love and passion for the same musical influences, Amethyst Blvd invite you to the same warm waves they create. Like a artist with paint on his brush, the atmospheric ambiance is laid thick and heavy by main songwriter Christian Martínez; he coats the paint even further with his ethereal guitars and entrancive vocals. With the help of seasoned songwriter Allan Martínez on bass guitar, the duo incite a fog of sound that can only be described as beautifully destructive.
