About this concert

Simeon Hammond Dallas is a singer-songwriter from London's Camden Town. An overactive mind and a desire to live a life like a travel montage from a rom-com provide the inspiration for her music; a folky bluesy country-soul amalgamation. An enemy of dichotomy, her music is soft and vulnerable while packing a punch at the same time. After separating from a record label last year, she released her debut independent single "Wild Woman" on January 10th. Simeon is taking to The Islington to launch the EP, "Manic Pixie Dream" - a four track record independently released and produced by Leon Itzler with artwork from Joanna Layla.

Really enjoyed Simeon's style of engaging the audience, and her singing, strumming, and songwriting skills are impressive. Glad to know she's local, so we can hopefully see her live again soon. 🎸 🎤 (The venue is pretty cool with a false-retro southern USA look. After standing for 3.5 hours, though, I was wishing there was a seat available.)
