CLAYTONIC

Clayton Cauchi, born in Malta in 1989 always had a certain love & passion for music from a very young age. Clayton's first foray into the dance music scene came at the age of just 16 after being introduced to DJ Ruby & DJ Ryan (Pure Promotions) by enrolling in their DJ school. This was back in 2006, since then he never looked back and did his utmost to hone his DJ’ing skills. His first demo mixes recordings received encouraging feedback both from friends & also from key players within the local dance music scene who spurred Clayton on. Within a few months the stage name Claytonic was born, he quickly found himself as a working DJ in the Maltese Club scene and his name grew bigger by the day. Claytonic already achieved milestones such as playing at various established clubs & other popular venues such as Gianpula, Numero Uno, Sky Club, Axis, Places, Prestige, Stitch, Vinyl, Clique, La Grotta, Amazonia & D-Code to name a few. Local & international powerhouses such as Creamfields, Cream, Sunset Sundays, Olympia, Cosa Nostra, Lovesexy, Ruby&friends, 1st of May Dance Music Festival & Fresh Events also embraced Claytonic on their line ups at their regular events. The past few years have also seen Claytonic on the bill alongside international artists; The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Avicii, Todd Terry, Sander Van Doorn, Paul Oakenfold, Robert Babicz, Erick Morillo, DJ Tennis, Chaim, John O' Callaghan, Matt Darey & also warmed up artists such as Anja Schneider, Technasia, Adriatique, Paolo Mojo & Deborah De Luca. Through his various weekly residencies at clubs such as Mink, Escape Club, Sabor, Caesar's House, Vinyl, T-Zers & Miracles, Claytonic has built a strong following which helped lead to the start of Claytonic's own clubnight, RESET. These regular events which always see a packed turnout feature some of Malta's top dj's such as Ruby, Audiofreak & Dre' to name a few and obviously extended sets by Claytonic himself. The present sees Claytonic playing his unique blend of dirty tech-house, deep-house & techno grooves at various events and clubs. Recently he just joined local powerhouse Pure Promotions as their resident alongside non other than DJ Ruby. You can definitely expect more from him within the coming months, and with Claytonic you can only expect the very best in cutting edge electronic dance music.
