SXOKONDO

SXOKONDO (pronunciation: shock-ondo, means «shockwave» in Esperanto) was formed in 2012 in Biel/Bienne
(Switzerland). Its four founding members went down the hardcore path before being joined by a second guitarist
who brought a darker approach, influenced by bands such as Breach, Botch, early Converge and many other bands
playing heavy, chaotic and violent music. SXOKONDO is not a band of beginners and consists of musicians from
various Swiss bands such as Elenkhos, Mass Control, Churchill, Bunkr, Euclidean, The Stand, Profond Barathre,
Yrre, as well as Desert Hobo. They know what they’re doing, and they give it all in their intense, decibel-filled
performances.
They have already had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many bands including Napalm Death, Coilguns,
Birds in Row, Émilie Zoé, Ken Mode, Wrong, Unhold, Life as War, Promethee, Euclidean, Nevborn, Oregon Trail,
Whoresnation, and many other Swiss and international bands.
