Siddy Biography
With an infectious take on peace, love and rock n roll, Siddy is poignant and poetic. Her prestigious songwriting and emotive performances have led her to supporting the likes of Tom Odell, George Ezra, Margo Price, Jill Sobule and folk-rock legend Robert Plant. Her band "Wildflowers" gained national recognition, including 3 singles play listed on Radio 2 and performances at Glastonbury festival and SXSW. After a two year stint living in The Rocky Mountains (Denver, Colorado), Wildflowers went on hiatus and Siddy is now flying solo, arriving on UK turf with a gripping live show that will feed you soul and inner angst. Her ability to charm and disarm her audience with her powerhouse husk and spirited stories of love, loss, and the adventure of life's true grit is what keeps her at the forefront of the alternative singer/ songwriter scene. Appropriately labelled “Punk Dolly Parton” (Scottish Sun), Siddy blends a mixture of southern gothic, blues, folk and good old fashioned grunge.
"With a powerful voice and a personality to match, she showed just why she is creating such a buzz . The songs switched between folk, country and pop, the lyrics were incredibly strong and so was the performance" - EVENING POST
"One of musicland's most genially charismatic faces to emerge” Venue Magazine
