Katie Weston is a singer, actor, musician, composer and arts creative. She has a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Voice (Melb Uni/MCM) and is an in-demand live vocalist and keyboardist, performing onstage and in studios across Australia and internationally. Her powerhouse vocals feature as front-woman and keyboardist for international corporate bands The Baker Boys, The White Tree and Lark Music. For many years prior, Weston did the pub and club rock cover-band circuit fronting her band STELLAR, performing anything from No Doubt to The Living End to Rage Against The Machine - with long residencies at Melbourne’s Crown Casino, PJ O’Briens, Elephant & Wheelbarrow and Lamby’s (Geelong). Weston is also a two-time award winning Lead Actress for the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria; her original alternative pop-rock EP Say The Word is on Spotify & iTunes with support slots for Thirsty Merc, Sarah McLoud (Superjesus) and BlueJuice at The Australian Open. Weston is an industry panel judge for Take The Mic Australia country-wide singing competitions; she is an accomplished musical director (RENT) and has composed two original musicals: Sugartown (2015) and her highly acclaimed Falling Forward (2019). Weston is also a sort after arts creative, voice coach and produces live entertainment under
KWM Australia.
Weston’s Qualifications include: M.Mus: Contemporary Voice (Melb Uni), B.Mus in Music Composition (VCA), Adv.Dip of Contemporary Music (NMIT) and a Dip.Ed (La Trobe).
