Horses

Horses is a rock band made up of three guys of punk and indie rock backgrounds from Cape Breton, NS, though they currently reside in Toronto.
Informed by spending their formative years in various discordant, DIY pursuits, the resulting music is stripped down and honest, reflecting a storytelling songwriting tradition that emphasizes the experiences of everyday people. These characters fall in love, think about death, and make choices that can be desperate and hopeful at the same time. The music underscoring these stories is as unrefined and angular as it is melodic and anthemic in attempting be as direct as possible in its delivery.

Band Of Horses is an American indie rock band from Seattle consisting of Ben Bridwell and Mat Brooke (formerly of Carissa's Wierd), Creighton Barrett, Rob Hampton and Joe Narnone. They are currently signed to Sub Pop. Their debut album, Everything All the Time, was released March 21, 2006.
