The Filaments

The Filaments were a 6 piece punk band from Essex. They released two albums and 3 tracks on a 4-way split.

On the 10th of July '05 they played their "last" gig at the City Invasion tour in London and on March '06 played two reunion shows in London with Deadline. but also played at the Rebellion punk festival in Blackpool Winter gardens Aug '07.

They are also rumoured to be writing a new record with a headlining slot at this years Revolution festival.

Lead singer John Fawkes also heads up the collaborative project Suicide Bid, which features ex-members of The Filaments and some of their offshoot bands The Ambition and Black Radio, as well as many other bands.
