Tahira Clayton

Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Tahira Clayton is beginning the journey of sharing her honest and earthy voice. Most recently featured on AMP Trio's album, "m(y)our world," Tahira was a highlighted soloist landing at #24 on the jazz charts. Tahira considers herself an urban jazz vocalist, exploring parts of different styles and unifying them with a modern flare. A side woman on many different recordings, Tahira is now playing and writing frequently for her own band in New York City. Her first album as a leader will be released in 2017.
